Canwest reorganizes marketing department

Canwest has integrated its senior marketing staff following its acquisition of Alliance Atlantis. Walter Levitt has been appointed chief marketing officer of Canwest Broadcasting. He was previously senior vice-president of marketing at CanWest MediaWorks. Chris Fuoco has been appointed vice-president of distribution and account marketing. He formerly led the Alliance Atlantis distribution unit. Deborah Lewis has been appointed vice-president of communications. Prior to joining Canwest in 2007, she developed communications programs for Inside Entertainment, SIR Magazine, Wire Image, Diesel and Hugo Boss. David O'Brien has been appointed vice-president of Canwest's Creative Agency. He will lead creative development for Global entertainment, Global News, the company's specialty channels and various clients. Brad Parry has been appointed vice-president of marketing for the E! brand. He handled the launch of the brand in Canada last fall. Jamie Schouela has been appointed vice-president of marketing strategy for Global. He has led the brand's marketing efforts since 2005. Muriel Solomon has been appointed vice president of specialty marketing strategy. She previously worked on several Alliance Atlantis brands, including HGTV and Food Network.
