CanWest MediaWorks hires one, promotes one

CanWest MediaWorks has appointed Deborah Lewis to the position of vice-president of communications for television. She will lead external and internal communication efforts for CanWest's conventional and specialty channels. Lewis was most recently head of communication at event management company McNabb Roick. Jamie Schouela has been promoted to the position of vice-president of marketing strategy for Global Television. He will oversee advertising, on-air promotion and publicity for Global's entertainment programming as well as Global National and Global News Ontario. Schouela joined CanWest in 2005 as director of advertising and promotion strategy for Global.
