Publicis Canada has introduced its parent company's digital marketing arm, Publicis Modem, to Canada. Publicis Groupe acquired its digital division last year by buying Digitas for $1.3 billion. Publicis Modem's services include creative, strategy, planning and technology. The division has a staff of 30. Its clients include Purina, Nestle, CIBC and Rogers. "The launch of Publicis Modem in Canada provides a wonderful complement of skills and capabilities to the strong and talented team we have leading our digital, interactive and mobile efforts today," said Serge Rancourt, president and COO of Publicis Canada. "We are fully able to support the growing and changing communications needs of our clients with confidence."
