Motorola has renewed its sponsorship of the Toronto International Film Festival for a third year.The company's participation includes three projects. The first is the Talent Lab MotoFilm project, a four-day development workshop for emerging filmmakers. The second is called Motorola Trailers. Thirty-second trailers recorded on Motorola handsets that will be displayed before some films. Finally, Motorola and MTV are jointly conducting a contest called "For the Reel." This is a short film competition aimed at young filmmakers and operated in conjunction with the festival's Vanguard program. The film festival will take place from Sept. 6 to Sept. 16.
