Globe and Mail, Alliance Atlantis begin Ultimate Home Makeover Contest

The Globe and Mail and Alliance Atlantis have begun a joint promotion called the “Ultimate Home Makeover Contest.” Globe and Mail readers can enter the contest once per day for its six-week run by visiting <http://www.globeandmail.com/homemakeover> and submitting the answer to a trivia question published in that day’s paper. The winner will receive a prize package worth $50,000, including a Food Network kitchen, an HGTV spa bathroom and a Showcase home theatre. Weekly prizes of $1,000 will also be distributed. Advertising support for the contest will run in Globe and Mail properties and on Alliance Atlantis television channels, along with additional print, online and radio ads. The advertising creative was produced by Naked Creative. Media buying was handled by Gaggi Media. Direct-to-consumer marketing activities in Toronto and Vancouver are being conducted by Free For All Marketing.
