Ariad Communications hires three, promotes one

Ariad Communications of Toronto has recently hired three new employees and promoted a fourth. Payam Shalchian has joined the agency as its user experience lead. He most recently operated his own consulting firm called PS Design Strategy. He has also worked at Bruce Mau Design and Institute Without Boundaries.
Radoslav Ratkovic has been appointed senior interactive art director. He was previously associate creative director at Maritz Canada and a freelance creative director. He has also worked at Naked Creative, Delvinia and Grey Worldwide.
Chet Lakhani has joined the firm's project management office as a program director. He was previously a freelance digital strategy consultant. He has also worked at Klick-Health, Media-Vision, ATI, Microsoft and IBM Canada.
Josh MacKinnon has been promoted to the position of senior account director. He joined the agency five years ago. For the past two years, he has led the firm's Knorr account.
