The Globe and Mail has launched a new digital and mobile property called Globe Games. The property offers daily crossword, logic and word puzzles. The property also offers advertising options integrated across its mobile, online and print version. According to the company, the property is intended to be a “premium, high-attention environment.” At launch, the property’s exclusive advertiser is the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, which is conduction a campaign that includes a custom game.
“Globe Games represents a natural evolution of how we’re building deeper, more consistent relationships with our audience,” said Penny Hicks, managing director of client partnerships at The Globe and Mail. “For our ad partners, it creates a premium environment rooted in daily habit and repeat engagement, extending attention beyond the news cycle and offering new ways for brands to connect with audiences in a meaningful, high-quality setting.”
