Factor readies crash promotion
By Derek Winkler
Meal delivery service Factor is preparing a promotion that will encourage consumers to eat lunch to avoid a mid-afternoon energy slump. From Feb. 25 to 26, the brand will operate a temporary installation in downtown Toronto aimed at office workers on their lunch break. The installation will offer three meal options served in a branded cooler bag. The promotion will also include the participation of a dietitian to answer nutrition questions.
“The 3 p.m. crash is something many people experience, and it's a common challenge I see when working with clients,” said Martina Luketich, registered dietitian at Factor. “While it's tempting to reach for caffeine or a quick snack, those options don't always provide lasting energy. Instead, it's worth rethinking how we fuel earlier in the day to support energy levels later on.”
