Nike Canada begins shopping mall soccer campaign

Nike Canada has begun an out-of-home campaign tied to the upcoming World Cup soccer tournament. The campaign is taking place in a number of shopping malls in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. A vinyl floor decal is intended to attract the attention of passing shoppers. This ad invites consumers to interact with a larger ad projected on a nearby wall. Viewers can use text messages to select one of five soccer videos to be displayed by the projectors. Viewer also receives a text message inviting them to visit a website to access additional Nike Soccer news. The campaign was created by Pattison Outdoor Advertising with media planning and buying by Cossette Media.
