SPRINT A PATRON OF GALLERY GOERS

Sprint Canada is forking out more than $150,000 to allow people to visit seven Canadian art galleries and museums once a week, for free or at reduced ticket prices. The subsidy applies to the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia in Halifax, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Winnipeg Art Gallery, Glenbow Museum in Calgary, the Provincial Museum of Alberta in Edmonton and the Vancouver Art Gallery. If the long distance phone service company's largesse is going to be mentioned in any advertising, it won't be in ads from Sprint itself. It will be up to the galleries and museums to mention Sprint's part in the affair.
