The Toronto-based Art Gallery of Ontario has appointed National Public Relations its PR agency of record. National won the account in a competitive review. The firm will work to raise awareness of the gallery and its collections, exhibitions and special events. The assignment includes communications, media relations and influencer activities. National previously worked for the AGO on a project basis in 2002.
“Exciting things are happening at the AGO, including the launch of our new admission model, which makes the museum more accessible than ever,” said Caitlin Mori, director of communications at the AGO. “Bringing National on board to work hand-in-hand with our in-house communications team will help us think differently about how we can reach new audiences, deliver on our brand promise and achieve our ambitious targets.”
