Bell Media promotes Farina

Bell Media of Toronto has promoted Rob Farina to the position of head of syndication and strategic initiatives for IHeartRadio. Farina joined Bell Media seven months ago as a senior advisor for the launch of IHeartRadio Canada. In his new post, he will be responsible for radio content syndication service Orbyt Media, as well as new radio initiatives. He will also continue to head IHeartRadio Canada.
Farina was previously vice-president of programming and innovation for the Rogers Media radio division. He also operated his own digital marketing firm called Black Box. Prior to that, he was executive vice-president of content and platforms at Astral, vice-president of programming at CHUM Radio and program director at 104.5 CHUM FM in Toronto.
