New president at Publicis Montreal

Publicis Canada has appointed Rachelle Claveau to the position of president of Publicis Montreal. She will begin work on Jan. 9. Claveau was most recently president of FCB Montreal. She was also vice-president and managing director of that agency. Prior to that, she held a series of positions at Cossette, culminating in vice-president. Claveau has also worked at Annexe Communications and the Just For Laughs festival.
Sylvain Dufresne has been appointed executive vice-president and creative director of Publicis Montreal. He will also begin work on Jan. 9. He has spend the last seven years as creative director of Lg2. Prior to that, he was a copywriter at BBDO. Dufresne has also worked as a freelance copywriter.
