TD Bank introduces ForeverProud emoji

TD Bank of Toronto, in association with Twitter Canada, has released a new emoji intended to represent the company's support of LGBT staff and customers. The circular rainbow graphic is accompanied by the campaign hashtag, "#ForeverProud." According to the company, this is the first time Twitter has developed a custom emoji for the Canadian market.
"TD is thrilled to be working with Twitter to launch Canada's first custom emoji, which represents TD's long-standing commitment to the LGBTQ community," said Cheryl Radisa, vice-president of integrated campaigns at TD. "Many people are aware that TD is a proud supporter of over 50 Pride parades and festivals across North America. However, we also support more than 100 LGBTQ organizations and initiatives throughout the year through funding, partnerships and employee volunteerism."
