Media Sales Lab readies cottage country promotion

Media Sales Lab of Toronto is preparing a promotional initiative in association with Bayshore Broadcasting, Vista Radio and Larche Communications. The effort will take the form of a radio and sampling program aimed at consumers visiting cottages in Ontario. The 12-week promotion will begin in June with sampling activities at events, festivals, grocery stores, beaches and other locations in Muskoka, Orillia, Collingwood, Georgian Bay, Wasaga Beach, Sauble Beach, Port Elgin and Grand Bend.

The promotion will support a series of clients. Bounce Canada will use the initiative to promote its protein ball product line. McCormick Canada will promote its Club House La Grille product line. Another promotion will involve a joint effort between Turkey Farmers of Ontario, Maple Leaf Foods and Butterball Canada.

"Cottage Country is a destination for millions of people each summer and it's great that these top tier brands recognize the opportunity in cottage country to engage with new consumers in an open and relaxed environment," said Kate Uhlman, senior client partner at Media Sales Lab.
