Maple Leaf conducts Stunt Protein campaign
By Rob Bale

Maple Leaf Foods has begun a campaign called “Not Stunt Protein” intended to contrast its products with various processed protein products on the market. Developed by Sid Lee, the digital and social media campaign includes the participation of food and nutrition consultant Seanna Thomas. It aims to raise awareness of the benefits of protein sources make from “natural ingredients” rather than “stunt protein” products incorporating sugar, fat or sodium.
“As a food and nutrition consultant and mom of three active kids, I know how important proper protein is,” said Thomas. “rotein isn’t just about keeping them full. It’s essential fuel for their bodies, supporting muscle recovery, repair and growth, as well as maintaining energy levels and helping build a strong immune system. While some ‘stunt protein’ options are highly processed and packed with sugar, fat and sodium, I prefer real, simple choices like Maple Leaf’s shredded chicken or oven roasted turkey breast.”
