Unilever hires international media agencies

Unilever has retained Mindshare of New York as its media agency in 60 international markets, including Canada. The agency, which is a subsidiary of WPP, won the account in a review involving an unknown number of contenders. The assignment encompasses media work in Europe, North America, South East Asia, South Asia and Africa.

In Europe, the account includes the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Moldova, Macedonia, Kosovo and Turkey. In North America it includes the US, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago. In Asia it includes Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In Africa it includes South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Ghana, Angola, Ethiopia, and the Cote D'Ivoire.

Unilever has also retained PHD as its media agency in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Initiative has been hired by the company as its media agency for Latin America and Greece.
