Booking.com readies new campaign

Travel company Booking.com will begin a new US advertising campaign on Feb. 9. Developed by Zulu Alpha Kilo of Toronto, the campaign features characters from the Muppets using the service to “find exactly what they’re booking for.” It includes 30- and 15-second television commercials, online video and social media elements. Media work is being handled by Mindshare.

“With this campaign, we’re putting the spotlight on the incredible choice, ease and value that Booking.com offers, making it easier for travellers to find exactly what they’re booking for,” said Arjan Dijk, chief marketing officer at Booking.com. “This year’s creative celebrates the relatable humor and playful moments of travel planning, showing how Booking.com can meet the needs of every traveller.”
