Booking.com releases Canadian commercial

Amsterdam-based travel booking company Booking.com has released a new television commercial in Canada aimed at women who enjoy traveling alone. The ad, called "Brianless," depicts a woman taking a vacation without her boyfriend. It was developed by Wieden&Kennedy Amsterdam. It is currently running on the company's YouTube channel and will break on Canadian television in May.

"Canadians are prolific travelers, so it's no surprise to us Canadian women are leading this trend globally," said Paul Hennessy, chief marketing officer at Booking.com. "Our research found traveling solo allows Canadian women to indulge in what seems to be a rare commodity in our fast-paced world, time alone. With all of the resources available at their fingertips online at Booking.com, women can instantly find out everything they need about a vacation property."

Booking.com is a subsidiary of The Priceline Group.
