...Tracy Eckebrecht has joined Coca Cola Ltd. of Toronto as marketing vice-president. Most recently she was head of strategic business development for Ault Foods International Division. She was also general manager of the Consumer Products Group. Eckebrecht replaces Chris Jordan ,who is now marketing director for Coca-Cola FmbH in Essen, Germany
...Mississauga, Ont.-based Mahoney International has hired several permanent staff members. Linda LeBourdais is now marketing vice-president. Ed Laba is now communications vice-president. Terry Kirsch is senior associate and Peter Johnson is a managing partner of Johnson, Mahoney & Associates, a marketing division that specializes in educational software. All four previously worked for Mahoney as independent counsellors on a contract basis
...Jeri-Lyn Cuda has been promoted to broadcast traffic co-ordinator on the Kellogg and Pillsbury accounts at Leo Burnett Company of Toronto. She was previously an assistant in the client service department. She replaces Michele Swan, who has left the agency.
Robert Chisholm has been made national sales manager at Siemens Credit Ltd. He will be responsible for sales and marketing of this newly created Canadian Siemens subsidiary.....The Canadian Association of Broadcasters has appointed Claire Schofield vice-president, communications as of December 9. Previously she was director of communications at the Ottawa Tourism and Convention Authority. Prior to that she was responsible for tourism marketing and communications at the National Gallery of Canada. She was also a public relations account supervisor for Los Angeles-based The Fontayne Group
.Gerald Schoenoff will be joining SMW Advertising of Toronto as senior vice-president, associate creative director next week. In his new position he will be re-teamed with longtime creative partner David Rosenberg, SMW's creative director. Prior to joining SMW, Schoenoff was senior art director at Cossette Communication-Marketing of Toronto
