New CEO at Edelman Canada

Edelman Canada of Toronto has promoted Lisa Kimmel to the position of chief executive officer. She will also remain president of the agency. Prior to becoming president last year, Kimmel spent six years as general manager of Edelman's Toronto office. Before that, she was a senior vice-president and national leader of the consumer marketing practice. Kimmel has also been a practice leader at Cohn & Wolfe.
"I'm extremely honored to take on the role of CEO, Canada," said Kimmel. "We've been strategic in developing a unique earned-centric, social-by-design approach that has proven to move the needle for our clients. We will continue to deepen our expertise and refine our offerings, to bring the most innovative solutions to bear for our clients."
