Global Vintners conducts DIY wine campaign

Global Vintners of St. Catharines, ON has begun a national public relations campaign aimed at do-it-yourself winemakers. The campaign, developed by Cowan & Company of Toronto, promotes the benefits of custom-made wine. It features two digital branded content executions in Weddingbells.ca, aimed at brides-to-be and illustrating the use of custom wines for weddings. These will be supported with social media activities, as well as a website at <http://www.myweddingwine.ca>. The campaign is the final phase of a larger effort that began with a holiday season promotion focused on gift giving and entertainment. The campaign, developed in association with Fifth Story of Toronto, features television personality Anna Wallner.

"Our goal is to recruit a new generation of personal winemakers," said Lynne Burnside, group marketing manager at Global Vintners. "High quality juice and concentrates enable winemaking retailers to help consumers create delicious wines at a fraction of the price. Making your own wine and personalized labels is also a lot of fun."
