Fifth Story promotes two, hires one

Toronto-based content marketing agency Fifth Story has promoted Tom Symes to the position of senior vice-president of brand partnerships and business development. Prior to joining the firm as vice-president of business development in 2013, he was head of sales and managing partner at the Imported Artists Film Company.
Jeffrey Caruk has been promoted to the position of vice-president of brand partnerships. He joined the company last year as director of client services. Prior to that, he was vice-president of sales and marketing at Homes Publishing Group.
Gerry Chomniak has joined the agency as vice-president of brand partnerships. He was most recently a vice-president at The T1 Agency. Prior to that, he was head of client services at GMR Marketing. Chomniak has also worked at Havas Worldwide Canada and Saatchi & Saatchi.
