Montreal-based dairy company Group Bel Canada has released a children’s book called The Gobbler that encourages healthy eating habits. The book, written by Frédérick Wolfe and illustrated by Pishier, is being distributed to 30,000 children nationally in association with Food Banks Canada. A digital version of the book is also available online. According to the company, the advice offered is drawn from Bell Group nutritionists and Canada’s Food Guide.
“With The Gobbler, we wanted to create an educational tool that helps children develop a positive relationship with food while supporting communities across the country,” said Cristine Laforest, president and CEO of Group Bel Canada. “This project reflects our mission, our commitment to healthier snacking and our determination to work alongside trusted partners to help build healthier and more sustainable eating habits from an early age.”
