First Choice Haircutters conducts FCHappy contest

First Choice Haircutters has begun a social media contest called "FCHappy." The national promotion, developed by Tag of Toronto, encourages consumers to share photographs of themselves in a First Choice location via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Those who do so will be entered into a draw for a $10,000 prize package. The content will run until May 4.

The contest is being promoted with television and digital advertising, as well as in-store materials, social media activities and a website at <http://www.fchappy.com>. The initiative is an extention of the chain's overall campaign for 2015, which uses the tagline, "Happy Looks Good on You."

"We have already seen a fantastic response from the 'Happy Looks Good on You' campaign," said Danica Wolch, director of client service at Tag. "We're excited to take it to the next level by creating some additional excitement for the brand and really pushing the social element of the program. We wanted to engage the consumer, in a space that is comfortable for them, so social was a natural fit. All roads converge there."
