Subaru begins Xbox promotion for WRX STI
Subaru Canada of Mississauga has introduced a video game component to its ongoing campaign for the 2015 WRX STI. The campaign as a whole began in April with a television commercial depicting the car navigating a course marked out by remote controlled quadcopters. The new elements make use of the same theme. Subaru is conducting this promotion in association with Microsoft Canada. It consists of a racing mini-game on the Xbox 360, a 360-degree view of the car along with product information and close-up photographs, and WRX STI themes and downloads. The initiative is aimed primarily at young male consumers. The overall campaign was developed by DDB Canada and OMD Canada.
