CHEESY ADS RETURNING TO CANADIAN TV
By Adnews Staff
Just when Canadian television viewers were convinced the man in quest of cheese had found enough to satisfy his cravings, the Dairy Farmers of Canada have brought him back as part of their latest ad campaign. Consisting of three separate ads, the campaign features the young man searching for the best way to enjoy cheese. In the first spot, he is ordering a meal while on board a train and changes his mind twice as he glances around the car, with various elements of decor reminding him of other kinds of cheese. He faces similar distractions in the other two ads, where he wakes up in the middle of the night craving a midnight snack, and again while singing an opera-like ode to all his favorite types of cheese. The ads will begin Sept. 26 and be with us until the end of June, 1997. They were created by Cossette Communication-Marketing of Toronto, produced by The Partners Film Company of Toronto. The media was bought by BCP, also in Toronto.
