Cossette conducts Santa Claus Parade campaign in Toronto

Cossette Communication-Marketing conducted a street campaign this week in Toronto to promote the city's upcoming Santa Claus Parade, which will take place on Nov. 16. The creative consisted of sidewalk chalk drawings along the parade route. The drawings were outlines of chairs, accompanied by the copy, "Lawnchair parking only." Poster advertising was also used in high-traffic locations along the route. The ads displayed milk and cookies on a sidewalk, a stocking hung from a bicycle rack and the copy, "He sees you when you're cheering." "With this campaign, our aim was to remind people about the parade, as well as spark sentimental feelings about the parade and the excitement surrounding the coming of Santa," said copywriter Caitlin Keeley. Public relations for the parade are being handled by Harbinger of Toronto.
