ROYAL BANK LAUNCHES VIATECH IN ATLANTIC CANADA

Royal Bank has introduced a free business counselling service known as ViaTech to the Maritime provinces. Available as of Wednesday, the service has already been operating in Alberta for the past year. The program brings together teams of business specialists to assist emerging firms in the knowledge-based industries on banking, taxation, accounting, legal and marketing issues. The service will be available in St. John's, Charlottetown, Halifax and Fredricton. In each of these cities, Royal Bank is partnering with Business Development Bank of Canada and local law firms, accounting firms and business consultants to cover all the areas where businesses might need help. ViaTech will be promoted by way of brochures that will be appearing in Royal Bank branches. They were designed in-house.
