DDB Canada Montreal adds staff

DDB Canada has appointed Monique Brosseau to the position of vice-president and managing director of its new Montreal office, which will open in January. The standalone office will service the agency's Volkswagen Canada account and future Quebec clients. Existing DDB Canada and Tribal Worldwide clients in Quebec will continue to be serviced by the agency's association with Bleublancrouge.

Brosseau was most recently executive vice-president and general manager of ZenithOptimedia Canada. Prior to that, she was senior vice-president of client services of Nurun, vice-president of client services at Publicis and vice-president of consumer products at Edelman Canada. She has also worked at L'Oréal Canada and Raymond Chabot International.

The agency has appointed Etienne Bastien to the position of vice-president, creative director and national co-creative lead of the Volkswagen account. He was previously vice-president and creative director at Tam-Tam TBWA. He was also vice-president and creative director at BCP.

Arnaud Tartier and Arnaud Deneux have joined DDB Canada Montreal as art director. Tartier was previously at Bleublancrouge. Deneux was most recently at Palm&Havas. Emmanuel Chevallier and Ben Duquette have been hired as copywriters. Chevallier was last at Marcel Paris. Duquette was previously at Bleublancrouge. Jacques Blanchet has joined the agency as a group account director. He was previously at JWT.
