Toronto-based Rogers has begun a new digital advertising campaign in support of its recently-launched Anyplace TV Home Edition application for tablets. The campaign, developed by Publicis, features comedian Colin Mochrie in the role of the viewer's television set. The effort makes use of interactive banners that demonstrate the features of the application, such as searching TV listings, changing channels, managing video recordings and watching live television on the tablet. The ads are running on Yahoo.ca and various Glam Media properties. Video ads on YouTube.com will begin on Feb. 22. Media planning is being handled by OMD.
