City of Toronto continues Chuck and Vince recycling campaign

The City of Toronto Solid Waste Management Services Division has released a new phase of its campaign featuring spokescharacters Chuck and Vince. The campaign, developed by Publicis Canada, broke in September. The new materials include two additional online videos, as well as a teaser video and radio, print and online advertising. The first new video focuses on the proper recycling and disposal of household hazardous waste, while the second encourages residents of apartments and condominiums to recycle more. "After all the media coverage and blogging about the first video on recycling electronics it seemed obvious to extend and broaden our duo's role," said Pat Pirisi, creative director at Publicis Toronto. "Eddie Izzard called the first video featuring Chuck and Vince funny and posted it on his website. CNN did a flattering piece. Comedy Central featured it on its site, and Mayor David Miller tweeted about it. We know how to take a hint."
