Campbell Canada, CBC hold Grey Cup contest

Toronto-based soup company Campbell Canada has begun a two-month-long promotion in association with the CBC aimed at Canadian Football League fans. From Sept. 3 to Nov. 5, viewers of CFL games on the CBC can enter the contest by submitting videos, photographs and anecdotes about tailgate parties. The winner will receive a trip to the 2007 Grey Cup game in Toronto to attend a tailgate party with various football players. The contest is being promoted with 30-second commercials on the CBC during game broadcasts. Entries will be hosted online at <http://www.cbcsports.ca/tailgate> and some will be displayed on-air during pre-game shows."Consumers consistently tell us that football is a great sport for Chunky to be associated with," said  David Allard, brand manager at Campbell. "We're able to engage our consumers with relevant, high-impact programs and experiences around the CFL, taking the Chunky brand's association with football to a whole new level."
