Campbell Canada conducts Under the Lid promotion

Soup company Campbell Canada has begun a winter contest promotion called "Under the Lid." Consumers can participate by looking under the lids of eligible soup products for instant win messages. Winners can claim their prizes by submitting an identification numbers to the contest website at CampbellsUnderTheLid.ca. The company will distribute approximately 180,000 prizes worth a total of $500,000 during the promotion. Prizes will include trips for four to Florida, cash prizes of $10,000 and $5,000, and various Campbell and Pepperidge Farm products.

"Our 'Under the Lid' contest gives Campbell's an opportunity to introduce consumers to some of our new soup offerings, including Creamy Tomato and Homestyle Rustic Lentil," said Moya Brown, vice-president of marketing at Campbell Canada. "With our great new look and improved taste on several varieties, we're hoping to renew Canadians' excitement about, and love of, Campbell's soup."

Specially-marked packages will be sold until March 31 at participating retailers nationally. The contest is being supported with in-store materials, in store flyers and with Facebook advertising.
