Report: Corporate reputations in Canada

National Public Relations and Leger have released the results of their 2018 study of corporate reputation in Canada. According to the results, Google remains the most admired company in Canada for a sixth year. Shoppers Drug Mart is ranked second, with Canadian Tire in third. The remaining companies in the top 10 are Sony, Samsung, Microsoft, Dollarama, Kellogg Canada, Campbell Canada and Kraft.

The report also remarks upon the drop in corporate reputation of Tim Hortons from fourth last year to 50th this year, citing its reduction to employee benefits as the primary cause.

"It is clear that Canadians judge their most admired companies based on the ability to respond to a crisis and how they treat their employees and customer base," said Christian Bourque, executive vice-president at Leger.
