Campbell readies Cantina promotion

Campbell Canada will begin a promotion called "The Cantina" in Toronto on Feb. 2. The initiative will feature a temporary restaurant in the downtown area of the city that will serve four soup-based meals designed by local chef Matt Dean Pettit. The location will also offer free samples of various soups. The restaurant will include a wall upon which consumers will be invited to place stickers. For each sticker, the company will donate a can of soup to the Daily Bread Food Bank. The promotion also includes social media activities. It will continue until Feb. 21.

"The Cantina by Campbell's experience will be a soup collective for those who love soup, sharing it together," said Moya Brown, vice-president of marketing at Campbell Canada. "Visitors will get to experience different flavours from Campbell's they may not have tasted, and swap tips with Chef Pettit on different ways to use Campbell's soups to make their own creations."
