TSN forms online ad agreement with ESPN

Toronto-based specialty channel TSN has formed an agreement with US-based ESPN regarding Canadian online advertising. Under the terms of the deal, advertisers will be able to buy advertising on ESPN.com through TSN. These ads will appear only to Canadian visitors to ESPN.com. According to TSN, ESPN.com receives approximately 1.3 million unique visitors per month from Canada, while TSN.ca receives 2.3 million visitors per month. “Including ESPN.com as part of the TSN family provides our clients with a unique opportunity to grow and extend their brands,” said Phil King, president of TSN. “ESPN.com is another vehicle in which Canadian advertisers can now reach the passionate sports fan.” TSN is a division of CTVglobemedia.
