Fernandes joins Canoe

Online publisher Canoe has hired Cathy Fernandes as interim sales director in Toronto. She previously worked at Rogers Media as associate publisher for sales at Marketing Magazine. Prior to that, Fernandes managed Media People, an organization that handled media sales for various independent publications. Canoe is a subsidiary of Quebecor Media.
