CBS Interactive signs representation deal with Jones Media

CBS Interactive has retained Jones Media of Toronto as the exclusive Canadian advertising sales representative of its Gamespot Network, a collection of online properties that primarily offer video game news and reviews. Jones Media will sell advertising in Canada for sites including Gamespot, Giant Bomb, Comic Vine, Games FAQ and Games Rankings. These sites are aimed primarily at males between the ages of 18 and 34 and attract approximately 1.8 million unique visitors in Canada.

"We believe this strengthens both our gaming and entertainment offerings, as Jones will be the first to offer a full 360 suite of engagement with this audience, including full custom content integration, native, video and display advertising," said Cathy Fernandes, president of Jones Media. "They have a strong following due to their dynamic brands and engaging content and we are very proud to have them on board."
