Shaw conducts Tree Spree promotion

Shaw has begun a national promotion called the “Shaw Tree Spree” intended to encourage the planting of trees in Canada. Through April, the company will encourage consumers to plant trees in video games. For each screenshot of a game tree submitted via social media, Shaw will plant a real tree in collaboration with Tree Canada. Shaw began the promotion with the participation of three professional video game players, MDee14, TY_digital and Kate Stark, who planted as many game-based trees as they could during a one-hour Twitch stream. Shaw and Tree Canada will plant real trees to match their total.
