GE Appliances expands soccer sponsorship

GE Appliances Canada has signed a sponsorship agreement with soccer team CF Montreal. The deal, which will run until 2024, includes in-stadium signage and co-branded marketing, as well as participation in the team’s youth development program. GE Appliances Canada also sponsors the Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps. The company now sponsors all the Canadian teams in the Major League Soccer organization.
In related news, GE Appliances Canada has also signed a season-long agreement with TSN to present “Player of Quality” segments during some Canadian MLS games. In addition, the company has signed a one-year promotional agreement with Toronto FC player Jonathan Osorio. Osorio will appear in a 30-second commercial that will break at the start of the 2021 MLS season.
