Canada's Marketing Hall of Legends gains members

The Toronto chapter of the American Marketing Association has announced its 2021 inductees into Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends. The program is intended to recognize professionals who have had a significant impact on the Canadian marketing industry over the course of their careers. Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends is sponsored by Architech.

The new inductees are: Judy John, global chief creative officer of Edelman; Sharifa Khan, president and CEO of Balmoral Multicultural Marketing; Rem Langan, former chief marketing officer of McDonald’s Canada; Bryan Pearson, former CEO of LoyaltyOne; and Ratana and Arran Stephens, co-founders of Nature’s Path. In addition, the organization has named Sahar Saidi, CEO of LUS Brands, its 2021 Marketer on the Rise.

“These exceptional leaders are legends,” said Miglena Nikolova, president of AMA Toronto. “They’ve shaped and influenced marketing in Canada and in many ways have global impact. Sharing their career accomplishments and inspiring stories celebrates excellence, provides inspiration and empowers leadership potential across the marketing community.”
