Air Canada signs content deals with Crave, Stingray

Montreal-based Air Canada has signed a pair of content distribution agreements with streaming video service Crave and audio service Stingray. Content from both services will be integrated into the in-flight entertainment systems on Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge planes. Consumers will be able to browse the system in 15 languages and access approximately 1,000 hours of entertainment content. Consumers will also be offered a free three-month trial of Stingray Music until the end of September.

“We are pleased to announce new partnerships with Crave and Stingray that will significantly enrich our video and music offerings,” said Andrew Yiu, vice-president of product at Air Canada. “Air Canada will be the only carrier to offer full seasons of Crave programming, while music lovers will be able to enjoy a much wider array of songs and genres from top artists through Stingray.”
