Broadsign buys Campsite

Montreal-based out-of-home advertising technology company Broadsign has acquired Campsite, a programmatic ad sales service based in Toronto. The purchase is intended to improve buyer access to digital out-of-home inventory. According to the company, the combination of Broadsign and Campsite will further automate the buying and selling of media inventory. Campsite was founded in 2016 by Newad as an independent business unit. Broadsign also recent acquired Ayuda Media Systems, and out-of-home software development company.

“Broadsign’s goal is to make buying and selling of out-of-home as easy as possible and adding Campsite’s strengths to our open platform will greatly help with that mission,” said Adam Green, senior vice-president of Broadsign. “We look forward to working with the Campsite team and all of our mutual customers to build on our collective vision for open programmatic DOOH trading around the world.”
