Tourism Nova Scotia begins Do More campaign

Tourism Nova Scotia has begun a new marketing campaign called “Do More” encouraging travel to the province. Developed by DDB Canada, the initiative is running in selected markets in Canada and the northeastern United States. The creative highlights the range of sights and activities in Nova Scotia. It includes a 30-second television commercial, accompanied by online video and banner ads, as well as influencer activities.

The campaign also includes a contest component that encourages residents of the province to recommend experiences for visitors via social media. Three winners will receive Google Pixel 3 smartphones. One photograph, to be determined by online voting, will appear on the cover the of the organization’s 2020 travel guide. Consumers who vote will be entered into a draw for a trip for two to Nova Scotia.

“Nova Scotia is full of hidden gems and, this summer, Tourism Nova Scotia is sharing locals’ favourite unknown places and experiences to inspire travellers to book a trip to the province,” said Craig Ferguson, creative director at DDB Canada.
