Tim Hortons readies Kenya Ice Lions documentary

Tim Hortons and Sportsnet will air a 20-minute documentary on Nov. 7 on the subject of the Kenya Ice Lions, the only hockey team in the African country. The Ice Lions appeared in an online video last month when Tim Hortons brought the team to Canada to play its first game against another team. The video, called "The Away Game," was developed by Zulu Alpha Kilo of Toronto. The new video will air following the evening's NHL game broadcast.
"We were completely blown away by the amount of support the story received from Canadians and hockey fans all over the world," said Jorge Zaidan, head of marketing at Tim Hortons Canada. "Our guests were inspired as much as we were and wanted to learn more about the team. So we're thrilled that the documentary will share more of the Ice Lions' story."
