Distributel, MobiTV ready new television service

Ottawa-based telecommunications provider Distributel Communications has formed an agreement with MobiTV of Emeryville, CA to develop a new mobile application-based television service. The service is intended to provide consumers with access to video content via a variety of devices. The service will be available in English and French to Distributel customers in Quebec and Ontario. The company plans to later expand the service nationally.
