General Mills breaks Ask Nature campaign

General Mills Canada has begun a new advertising campaign for its Nature Valley line of granola bars. The campaign, called "Ask Nature," encourages consumers to go outside and experience nature. The initiative includes television, cinema and billboard advertising, as well as public relations. This will be accompanied by a social media campaign that will focus on local natural attractions and a website at <http://www.naturevalley.ca/parkfinder> that will assist visitors in locating nearby parks. The campaign was developed by Cossette.

"Connecting Canadians to nature is a mission that is close to our hearts," said Emma Eriksson, vice-president of marketing at General Mills Canada. "We've been on this journey for the past four years, and we're going a step further with 'Ask Nature.' We aim to showcase the irreplaceable joy and benefits that spending more time in nature can have for children and adults alike. Ultimately, our goal is to inspire Canadians to rediscover the outdoors."
