Cossette, The&Partnership form dedicated Telus group

Cossette and The&Partnership Canada have formed an agreement to consolidate creative, digital, CRM and media work for their Telus accounts into one integrated group of staff. The new group will begin handling the business in August. According to the agencies, the arrangement is intended to help Telus increase its brand awareness with a consistent message for all communications.

The group will consist of staff from each agency working in dedicated spaces in Toronto, Vancouver and Toronto. It will operate under a yet-to-be-announced name and will be headed by general manager Jack Shute, previously managing director of The&Partnership in Vancouver.

"Both Cossette and The&Partnership have shown us how cross-functional teams can drive improved creativity and results," said Simone Lumsden, vice-president of brand and customer experience marketing at Telus. "After working with the agencies to explore how we could take the integrated agency model to the next level, we're really excited about this innovative approach that formally brings both lead agency partners together in one collaborative environment to produce even more ground-breaking work for the Telus brand."

Telus hired The&Partnership as its creative agency of record in 2014. Cossette has been the media agency for Telus since 2010 and gained its CRM account in 2013.
