RBC begins Thank You Mom and Dad contest

The Royal Bank of Canada has begun a contest promotion called "Thank You Mom and Dad" in association with Student Life Network. The initiative encourages students to express gratitude to their parents for their educational financial support. Students can enter by submitting stories of how their parents, grandparents or mentors have supported them in their studies at <http://thankyou.studentlifenetwork.com>. One randomly-selected winner will receive $20,000 to be used to thank those people. The contest will run until June 30.
"How do you sum up the impact of all of the support you've been given throughout your schooling," said Amber Pearson, senior manager of education financing at RBC. "We want to help students find the right way to say thank you and express how grateful they are to their supporters. It can never be said too often and we can't wait to hear the inspirational thank yous from students across Canada."
